Rolfing

Rolfing is a sophisticated and effective form of hands-on manual therapy. Its goal is to create structural, functional, and energetic changes from deep within your body. Each session has unique goals that focus on different areas of the body. Visual and movement assessments before, during and after each session allow for interventions to be tailored to your specific movement, postural and tension patterns.

Rolfing works to bring better function and balance to the body's posture and movement patterns by increasing range of motion, evoking inner awareness, improving joint alignment and creating body-wide coordination. This generally occurs over ten sessions known as the Ten Series.

Common benefits include:

  • improved posture
  • reduced pain
  • improved range of motion
  • injury prevention
  • enhanced physical performance
  • increased energy
  • stress relief
  • increased breath volume and ease

Foot Scrub with Reflexology

Enjoy an invigorating treat for your feet! Your therapist will start by applying a sugar scrub of your choice to help exfoliate and energize your tired soles. Hot, soothing towels are then applied to assist in removing the scrub and relaxing you. A specialized reflexology session will follow, focusing on any trouble areas you may have. This is a great treatment for both foot health and overall body wellness!

Cost: $30 for 30 minutes

Kinesio Taping

Kinesio taping is a technique that is designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process while providing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the body’s range of motion. It also serves to provide extended soft tissue manipulation to prolong the benefits of manual therapy. Kinesio tape can be applied in hundreds of ways and has the ability to re-educate the neuromuscular system, reduce pain and inflammation, optimize performance, prevent injury, promote healthy circulation and healing, and assist in returning the body to homeostasis.

"The massage therapists listen, but also advise on stretches or ways to alleviate pain or stress. Since coming for massage therapy, I have noticed stress levels decreased, aches and pains are not so bad, coping with a hectic schedule is not as overwhelming. I highly recommend craniosacral massage as it helps you get your focus back."
